Grab Bag

Ok so this post is just a random assortment of stuff that I need to get out there.

One is that I now know how to post my reviews for FIRST(fiction in rather short takes) so you will be seeing those as soon as I finish with the books for September.

Another thing is that my first day of highschool went by and I must say that it was CRAZY. It will be interesting my first year, and I pray that I will be able to handle it all. But God has pulled through in the past so I 'm not sweating it too much. I've only had my A day so far, and I have yet to meet my B day teachers to we will see how that goes.

The only teacher I can tell that I 'm going to have to tolerate is my english teacher. I'm not gunna go into any thing too specific, but I'm already alittle irked with her. Any way all my other teachers for A day seem to be good, but I will let you know more as I get to know them alittle better.

I've got some wacked out things going on in my life right now, so if you would just pray for me in general that God will sort things out that would be great.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned folks.

ahhhHHH FREAK OUT!

School starts tomorrow!!! Alright every one time to freak out.

The summer just flew by and wow did it go out with a nice bang. Today I spent most of the day at the beach relaxing and getting a tan...NOT. I was at the beach, but there was no way I was going to sit around and wait for the grass to grow while I got tan(but alas being a red head means that I DON'T TAN!). Instead I had a nice full day of skim boarding(best thing to do on a beach), swimming, kiaking, and riding a wave runner. There was no way I was going to let my last day slip away with out doing every thing I could on the beach. The good news is that I get out at two or 2:10, so after school is over I have the whole afternoon to do mostly whatever(aka...homework :(( ).

Some things I'm doing that I don't normally do to get ready for school tomorrow.
  • Pick out my outfit the night before
  • Go to bed at TEN THIRTY (and body who knows me knows that this is like going to bed at like six.)
  • preparing my mind to get up in the five o clock hour(never done that before)
  • getting a purse ready for the morning
  • and so on and so forth.

Bottom line, the day...no correction... week is going to be one giant every where mess.

Pray for moi as she goes into her first day of highschool

See you on the other side of the rain bow

New Home Improvement Project

My Bird, Yao Ming (Don't ask), is getting a major upgrade in where he will be living. Right now he is living a four almost five year old cage that he has been living in since I first got him. Now I'm happy to announce that he will get a new cage that my mom, dad, and I will be building out of wood, close knit chicken wire, and roofing shingles. So basically he's going from a too small trailer home to a nice spacious mansion.

We were saying that we havn't had a home improvement project in a while, then my dad said that it wasn't a home improvement project, but I told him that it wasn't for us but it was for Yao.

By this time I have figured out that no one is reading these, but it is still funn to write them for the occasional person who wants to drop by and read them.

CSI moment

Those of you who watch CSI will appreciate this post, but others are probably wondrin' what I'm rambling on 'bout.

For those who have followed it should know 'bout the Miniature Murderer. Well I havn't really been able to watch the eppisodes in order so I just tonight got caught up on all of those cases. The first one I had seen was the one with the old lady who fell through the window, then the next one I saw was the one where instead of the lady dying it was the cop. in that on though the other guy who had previosly confessed to the murders had killed himself. So I came into that eppy 'bout two short.

Couple of night ago I watched the one where Izzy get's murdered, so that sort of made sense. and then tonight I saw my final missing eppy up until my latest and that was the chicken slaughter house one. So I was stoked when I was able to see up to the point that I had already seen.

Now I'm sure that those of you who don't normally keep up with CSI are totally lost. So for those of you who don't follow the world of crime here is a little bit more.

I finally completed my school supply shopping.

Don't ever go to Office Max. I needed graph paper, just plain ole graph paper, but Office Max has everything BUT! They have surveying paper, heavy duty lined paper, pads of paper, pads of non quadrill(e?) graph paper, pads of graph paper with out holes in it, and it goes on and on. Bottom line, we walked into Office Depot, and the person at the door asked if there was any thing we were looking for and my mom and I siad in unison "Graph paper." He pointed to a crate right in the front of the store, and there it was three holed quadrille graph paper. I could not belive it. So don't EVER shop at Office Max. They have NOTHING, and I swear they don't understand english there. I kept asking for Three holed graph paper and they kept showing me stuff that wasn't even close to what I was asking.

Ok I'm done venting 'bout Office Max. I hope that I got through to you that Office Max is a LOUSY place to shop.

Ciao for now.

Wake up call

We went school shopping today for like binders and stuff, and it hit me today that I start school in THREE days. All I have to say is that my summer went by like a bullet. That's not all bad though. I'm tired of waiting for highschool. I want to get it out the way and start already.

Toodles.

Shoes!

I finally got my converse all stars today! I've been waiting for them to ship for 'bout three days. Now I know that doesn't seem like a while, but any one who has waited for a package knows EXACTLY how long this can be. Any whoo, they are so me it's not even funny. They have unicorns and purple and just 'bout every thing else that classifies me. Some may wonder how I can get so worked up over a pair of shoes, but trust me, it is possible. Also we went to the outlet mall today on a mission for a jean skirt and I accepted it and completed it (for a while there I wasn't sure I was)! Now except for school supplies I'm ready for school. (or as ready as I can get) That's 'bout it for today.

Catch ya on the flip side.

Orientation Nightmare

Yikes! is the first thing that pops into my head when I think of what my first year at BS is going to be like.

Today I had orientation and it was LONG! It started at seven but because I was an academy student I had to be there at six. Not only did I have to be there an hour early, but it ended up running late and I didn't get out of there till 9:30. sheesh. Most of teachers seem nice, but there is one that I think is going to be a total hag and considering it's biology, she might actually be...you know...the kind that turns you into a frog. Wish me luck and pray that I remain a humanoid.

Any way, BS's rep as being a "Ghetto School" is definatly only a rumor. Every one was nice and even the african american population were nice.(Not that I expected them not to be, but with the rap that they were getting from my friends I wasn't sure). Any who, other than the fact that my classes are in all four corners of the school, I'm not too worried, but I would still like your prayers as my first day aproaches on Tuesday.(Insert unenrgetic 'whoo hoo')

On a lighter note... I START HORSE BACK RIDING! So I had to quit soccer for this season :( (yeah total bummer, and I'm gunna kill my coach when I get back). The reason is that my coach doesn't think that we are ready to play U 18 which is what would have to play cause they were combining U 16 with U 18. That would mean we jump from U 14 to U 18 and he is being a wimp and keeping us down in the U 14 level, and me being 14 going on 15 at the end of the season, can't play so in stead of soccer, my 'rents are letting me do horse back riding 'gain.

And That's all folks
